Initial Text — reaching out to former colleagues
Send this to CNAs, HHAs, nurses, and supervisors you worked with at agencies or facilities. They know you, they know how you work, and they talk to families. A referral from a trusted colleague is worth more than a cold introduction.

Follow-Up Text — no response to initial text
Send this 2–3 weeks after the initial text if you haven't heard back. Keep it short — they're busy. Two follow-up attempts total is enough. After that, move on and re-engage in 3–6 months if the relationship is worth maintaining.
